- to tell you what you can (and can't) do when using our Online Repeat Prescription Service; and
- to limit our liability in relation to your use of the service
Nothing in this legal notice shall affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We provide this service to you as a licensee of 2ML Ltd trading as 2MLPharmacare
The license to operate our Online Repeat Prescription Service is held by the Legal Person, Persons or Company; either named on the Regulatory Page of the website from which you link to the service.
If the website from which you link to the service does not have a Regulatory Page displayed on the website, the licensee is the Legal Person, Persons or Company owning or operating the Pharmacy; whose business is featured on the website from which you link to the Online Repeat Prescription Service.
By registering for the Online Repeat Prescription Service you also expressly agree to all terms and conditions appearing on the website from which you link to this service; and these same General Terms and Conditions will also apply to the use of this service.
Registering for the Service
You must be 18 Years or over before you can register to use our Online Repeat Prescription Service
Before validating your registration online you will be asked by a member of our Pharmacy Team to provide personal information as detailed on our standard Consent Form. You agree that you have freely provided this information and you agree that you have freely signed the Consent Form giving us authority to act on you behalf when we are either;

Once you have signed the Consent Form, we will endeavour to register you as a user of our Service within a maximum of one week from the date you complete the registration form; however you accept that even though; we may have invited you to use our Online Repeat Prescription Service; and you may have signed a Consent Form; there is no obligation placed upon us to register you within any time frame whatsoever; or indeed to register you for the service at all.
By registering yourself as a carer you are confirming that you have full authority to act on behalf of that patient, in respect of managing the Patients Repeat Medication; and you agree that you will not register yourself as a Carer of any person without full authority to do so.
Once we register you as a user of the system you will receive an email containing a link; which after selecting and following; will take you to a new window displaying the First Time login screen; on which you will be required to validate your registration using your Date of Birth to complete the registration process.
Using the Service
Once you have validated your user account further access to our Online Repeat Prescription Service will require you to enter your email address and password on the service login screen on each occasion you use the service.
It is your responsibility to keep your login details safe and secure and you agree never to pass your login details onto a third party.
If you suspect that the security of your login details have been compromised you must immediately change your password to secure your user account.
If you are no longer able to use the service personally, but wish to continue using the service to manage your Repeat Prescriptions; you must advise the Pharmacy and nominate a Carer who will access the service on your behalf. The nominated Carer will be required to fill out a new Consent Form before they can manage your Repeats List.
You can withdraw your consent for a Carer to manage your Repeat Medication at anytime by contacting a member of our Pharmacy Team and upon your instruction we will withdraw access by the Carer to your medication list within 72 hours. Within that timeframe it is your responsibility to instruct your carer not to further access the service on your behalf.
If a Carer who cares for you also cares for other people, or the carer uses the Service to manage their own Repeat Medication; if those people cared for, are of legal age to authorise the Carer to manage their Repeat Medications; then the Carer will retain an active user account allowing them to continue to access the service.
You can withdraw your consent for us to act on your behalf in respect of your Repeat Medication at any time; however we will require 72 hours notice to deactivate your account.
You agree that you must never add items to the Repeat Medication List that have not been approved by a Doctor and that you must never modify the dose of an approved Repeat Items unless approved by a Doctor.
If you need to an amendment; by increasing the quantity of a regular Repeat item, for whatever reason; including advance supplies to cover holiday periods, you must advise both your Doctors Surgery and our Pharmacy prior to doing so.
If you need to amend; by decreasing the quantity of your regular Repeat items for whatever reason; including having an unused supply in your possession, you must advise both your Doctors Surgery and our Pharmacy prior to doing so.
You accept that a Doctor is not under any obligation; to prescribe any item placed using our Online Repeat Prescription Service; in any dose; or any quantity whatsoever; nor or they bound to do so in anyway legally or otherwise. Should a Doctor decline your request for an item it is your responsibility to resolve such decisions directly with the Doctor.
You agree that we are not under any obligation; to fulfil any order placed using our Online Repeat Prescription Service; for any item; in any dose; or any quantity whatsoever; nor are we bound to do so in anyway; legally or otherwise.
Should we decline; or fail to fulfil any request; we will endeavour to advise you immediately but you expressly accept that we may be unable to make contact with you; and that therefore no duty of care can be placed upon us to advise you that your order has been declined, or unfulfilled; once contact has been reasonably attempted and failed.
If you have provided an email address; our Online Repeat Prescription Service will send you notifications and reminders at various stages of the Repeats cycle to remind you to reorder items due for renewal or to advise you that items have been requested or prepared and are ready for you.
You expressly accept that we cannot guarantee delivery of email; therefore it remains your responsibility alone to reorder Repeat items in a timely fashion to ensure continuity of your supply and that it is your responsibility to contact our Pharmacy to ensure items ordered have in fact been requested and have actually been prepared.
You agree that even though we may have indicated that we will deliver your Repeat Prescription items as part of our Online Repeat Prescription Service to you; and even though we may have delivered to you on past occasions; there is no obligation for us to continue providing a delivery service to you and that we may withdraw the delivery service at any time without notice and without explanation.
If we do offer a delivery service we reserve the right to amend or introduce a charge for providing this service; and payment will be required at the point of delivery.
We also reserve the right to limit a prescription delivery service to individual users of the service or groups of users; or to exclude individual users or groups of users.
We will endeavour to deliver your prescription within two days from the date we collect the prescription from the Surgery; however we cannot guarantee that in all cases we will be able to do so; in which case should you need your medication urgently; it will be your responsibility to arrange collection from our Pharmacy.
If we make a delivery to your nominated delivery address; you must ensure that you are present at the delivery address; or that a nominated Adult is present to sign for the prescription. You also agree to provide valid photo identification at the time of delivery if requested.
If we are unable to deliver your medication because; if for example no one is present at the time of delivery; we will leave a note explaining we attempted to deliver and the medication will be returned to the Pharmacy. We will also endeavour to send you an email within 12 hours of the failed delivery and it will be your responsibility to contact the Pharmacy to arrange the fulfilment of your order.
Whatever legislative Prescription charges are in place at the time your prescription was issued will apply at the point in time we fulfil your order.
If you are exempt from payment you agree to provide us with evidence of your exemption when requested; at the point in time we fulfil your order.
If you are not exempt from payment you agree to provide us with payment for your prescriptions; at the point in time we fulfil your order.
Access to the Service
Access to certain areas or functions within of the service may be restricted. We or our licensors reserve the right to restrict access to other areas of the service, or indeed the entire service, at our discretion.
If you abuse the terms and conditions laid out in this document we may at our sole discretion deny you further access to the service by locking your user account.
We may also permanently disable any user ID and password allocated to you in our sole discretion without notice or explanation.
If you have forgotten your password you will be able to request a password reset by clicking the Password reset link on the login page. You will also be able to change your password once you are logged into the service.
If either you or an unauthorised third party exceeds four failed login attempts to access the service; your user account; required to access the service will be automatically locked to protect your privacy; and you will be required to contact our Pharmacy in person to request that we unlock your account.
Our website is normally available 24 hours a day, but the Company shall not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
Access to our website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the Company's control.
Should our Service be unavailable for any period of time or for any reason whatsoever it is your sole responsibility to reorder any Repeat Medication in person; by phone; in the Pharmacy or at the Doctor's Surgery.
We or our Licensors may; at any time; at our sole discretion and without notice cease to provide our Online Repeat Prescription Service.
We will hold this information safely and securely; in either a physical form; or in the form of electronic data; or in both forms; at the same time; in full compliance with our obligations under the Data Protection Act.
Our Online Repeat Prescription Service is hosted on secure servers meaning that any transactions between you and us are made over an encrypted HTTPS:// connection.
The database in which your data is held online is also encrypted
Should you cease to use our online system; if you notify us we will permanently delete any online personal data we hold about you or your medication within seven days. If you fail to notify us we have no way of knowing that you no longer wish to use the system and accordingly we will retain your data.
If you have not accessed our Online Repeat Prescription Service for a period of 12 months or more we reserve the right to delete your user account and any associated data.
We are unable to transfer your data including any login details to another Pharmacy in the event that you choose to use a similar service from an alternative Pharmacy.
We or our Licensors may only access your Data; as necessary and only for; the purpose of providing the Service; preventing or addressing service or technical problems; at your request in connection with a customer support matter; or as may be required by law.
Our Online Repeat Prescription Service uses email as a means of communication. Even though you may routinely use email in your daily affairs we must bring to your attention, and you must accept, that email is not considered a secure technology and there is a small risk that an unencrypted email communication can be intercepted.
Email users in general also place themselves at risk of receiving "spam" and "phishing" emails and other malicious communication and this risk is one you accept when before using our Online Repeats Service
A key feature of our Online Repeat Prescription Service is that we will use email to communicate with you; for the purpose of sending you reminders and notifications at various stages in the Repeats cycle. You expressly give us permission to use email to contact you.
We may also communicate by email with your Doctor regarding your Repeat medication needs. You expressly give us permission to use email to contact your Doctor.
The information that could be included in such email communication is your Name; Address; Date of Birth and Medication.
You must not register for or use our Online Repeat Prescription Service if you have any concerns relating to the confidentiality of this information when transmitted by email.
By registering for this service you expressly acknowledge you understand the risk to the confidentiality of your personal information as a result of transmission by email and you agree to fully indemnify us from any loss you may suffer as a result of such a breach of confidentiality.
If you use our Online Repeat Prescription Service to manage Repeat Prescriptions on behalf of someone else; you agree to inform those that you care for; of the risk to the confidentiality of their information when you use the service; and you agree to fully indemnify us from any loss suffered by those you care for as a result of such a breach of confidentiality.
If you act in the capacity of a parent or guardian or other legal position of authority; you fully indemnify us from any loss suffered by all those in your care as a result of such a breach of confidentiality.
